Catherine Gray is a Creative Director specialising in brand story telling. Focused on meaningful narrative that spark emotional connection between audience and product. Her ideas are 360 from digital to print to experiential – creating shareable moments in real life and fuelling social media engagement.
She approaches projects with tactical and strategic thinking – drawing from her experience in traditional ad agencies. Whether budgets are low or high, she creates the most impactful outcome – elevating struggling brands and winning further new business when good results come in.
She builds close relationships with clients through her clear focus on solving their business challenges. Her vision is backed with robust rationale that makes a persuasive sell, allowing brands to feel comfortable even when the idea takes them outside their comfort zone.
As CD at MRY in New York, for the past 6 years, she led brands such as Coca-Cola, Spotify, Sally Hansen, Rimmel London and Listerine. She directed teams of designers, art directors and writers, and prided herself on building team spirit and passion for projects no matter what limitations got in their way. She moved back to London earlier this year and looks forward to bringing her U.S. knowledge to the U.K. market.
She is credited with creating award-winning campaigns for brands such as IKEA, Virgin and War Child, and has worked for the top-ranked advertising agencies in London, Sydney, and New York. This year she was nominated to judge on the Social Media panel for The One Club's One Show Awards in New York.

Boo.com was too far ahead of its time, anticipating advances in the online user experience before Internet speeds and mobile devices caught up. This vision gave Catherine the opportunity to work with interactive product stories, 360-degree views, and live chat for brands such as DKNY, Paul Smith, and Timberland, during the fledgeling Internet.
Still, as passionate about the ever-evolving digital world, Catherine is hitting her stride in content creation and brand expression. She has a keen awareness of current trends and tech advancements and is always looking to see what’s next...
